Know your rights

Do you know that a machine manufacturer's representative cannot legally require, in writing, or verbally, that a machine owner purchase paper or copy media from them exclusively? Legally, they can proclaim the virtues of their own media, explain the potential dangers of using media which does not conform to machine requirements, and can condition an agreement only on the usage of media which does not conform. You have the right to use Thru-put media, which is designed specifically for xerography, laser and LED, and will not cause machine or copy quality problems. Compare our Thru-put quality, packaging, availability and price with your current brand. As a user, you deserve the best value for your dollar. In fact, we are so confident that Thru-put media offers the best performance in today's marketplace, we guarantee it in writing! (See our Thru-put Guarantee)

Alternative Photo Base   Glossy Photographic Paper   Adhesive-Backed Vinyl
755N

Here's a revolutionary alternative to using high-end photo media. If your finish your prints with a laminate, there is no need to use expensive photo products. Alternative Photo Base (APB) offers you the look of photoglossy or photomatte products after lamination. Once laminated, you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference between any of the three products. And here's another great reason to use APB: it dries incredibly fast! You'll be off to the laminator in minutes, not hours, saving you time and money!

  758N*

Ideal for full-color graphics, our Glossy Photographic Paper is the best! Our patented inkjet formulation makes this product one of the most popular media in the AZONcolor line. Images seem to "leap off the paper" wherever ink is applied! Made from the highest quality grade of photo paper, 758N is a premium product that will keep your customers coming back for more

  770N*

Our adhesive-backed indoor vinyl has the same superior image quality found in our photographic papers. In other words, it's great! Just print directly onto the vinyl, then peel and adhere to your surface! We recommend that you over-laminate it for protection from abrasion, moisture and image fade from UV light. It is not recommended for fleet usage.

* This product is covered by U.S. Patent #5,532,064 and other patents pending.

Ask the Experts

Store finished prints away from the elements. You'd be surprised how quickly a finished image can shift color if left near bright light. Also, moisture can cause bleeding or color spots.

When handling inkjet films, especially clear film, wearing a pair of white cotton gloves can prevent fingerprints caused by moisture, dirt or grease.

Display Graphics Film   View-Thru Film   White Opaque Film
766N & 766HP*

Use our AZONcolor 10 mil Polycarbonate Film to eliminate a step and save time and money in the process! For large display graphics, most output vendors over-laminate graphic output with a heavyweight, scuff-resistant polycarbonate film for protection and glare reduction. Now you can print your graphics in reverse right on that same film, then turn it over and mount it - no overlamination required! Applications for such a versatile and durable product are endless.

  778N* & 778HP*

A 10 mil version of 777N, this product gives you all the benefits and color vibrancy with the added benefit of an extra heavy polyester. Thus providing your with extra durability and rigidity needed in some lightbox applications.

  979N*

This 4 mil White Opaque Film is specially coated to produce bright and vivid images. In addition to this special feature, this 4 mil film offers high resolution and a super glossy surface. It is often used as a photo glossy alternative because of its extreme durability. Enhnace your next presentation with a film that has it all.

* This product is covered by U.S. patent # 5,532,064 and other patents pending

View-Thru Film   Clear Film
777N* & 777HP

Azon was the "pioneer" of the backprint, backlit film concept. Our 777 View-Thru film wins accolades from all those who use it. Its unique construction allows ink to flow through the reverse side of the film and become trapped between the inkjet coating and the clear film at the bottom. This semi-opaque film offers the most eye popping color fidelity and intensity you will ever see! Originally designed for backlit applications, more and more people are using it for posters and banners where traditional photographic methods have been used in the past, and at a fraction of the cost!

  787N* & 787HP*

AZONcolor 4 mil Clear Film is designed for all types of multi-layered imaging, signage and overlays. To ensure that your printer will recognize media presence, we interleave our film with white opaque paper. This allows you to "view as you print" and avoid mistakes before completion. This interleaf can also reduce your chances of slippage and registration problems.

Outdoor Media

Polycarbonate Banner   Reinforced Poster Paper
810

This 10 mil Polyethylene Banner material is durable and water resistant. Its ultra smooth surface provides excellent imaging results. Pigmented inks are recommended for outdoor applications; however, dye-based inks may also be suitable for indoor applications.

  830

By combining the durability of wet strength paper with nylon reinforcement, Reinforced Poster Paper becomes a very durable outdoor poster material. This is an economical alternative to high-end banner materials, especially for short-term indoor or outdoor use.

Ask the Experts

Water resistance

The best degree of water resistance is obtained by utilizing PIGMENTED inks. Recommended ink coverage is 250% or less. Heavier ink saturation could degrade the water-fast characteristics. Dye-based inks can be used with good success, however repeated moisture exposure to dye-based inks could cause bleeding. Although lamination is NOT required for pigmented inks, lamination is recommended when using dye-based inks. Total encapsulation is recommended to eliminate the possibility of bleed when using dye-based inks. Image should be left to dry for 24 hours before exposure to moisture.
Scrim Vinyl
820

Premium 15 mil Scrim Vinyl material provides a great deal of opacity for banner applications. Its opacity minimizes show-through from sunlight and other factors.

Tyvek Banner   Matte Adhesive Vinyl
840

Get maximum durability and tear resistance with Tyvek Banner media. It is designed for use in both indoor and outdoor applications. Its water-resistant surface, combined with pigmented inks, provides the fade resistance, longevity and durability you'll need for outdoor banner applications.

  850

This 5 mil Matte Vinyl material has a water-resistant coating that allows for vibrant, beautiful imaging, plus its matte surface alows for a wide viewing angle. It has a repositionable adhesive layer for flexibility and multiple use applications. Utilize our 850 where a flexible and durable outdoor banner material is needed

Ask the Experts

Hemming Banners

For stitched hems, a double stitched hem is recommended. Use maximum of 5 stitches per inch. And keep in mind the inkjet image can be scratched, so it's recommended that the banner be sewn from the hem side up. This will keep the sewing machine foot from coming in contact with the image. For a taped hem, use standard high-tack banner tape. Always follow the guidelines of the tape manufacturer.

Crystal-Clear Copies
With CRYSTALENE Drafting Vellum, your sharp, ghost-free originals make sharp, ghost-free second originals and reference prints - microfilm, xerographic or diazo. Good-looking copies keep you looking good, too, especially when specifications are tight and a project is on the line. The 100% cotton Vellum's translucency also makes it an ideal master for subsequent diazo reproductions.

Strength You Can See
You'll see the strength as soon as you put pencil or ink to paper. Perfectly balanced, CRYSTALENE's engineered surface guarantees a uniform tooth. So your lines lay down smooth and sharp, effortlessly.

Accept No Substitute
The difference is HERCULENE Film's "engineered surface." Whether you use ink or pencil, it gives you just the right amount of tooth for sharp, clean lines. Yet it's smooth enough to make your pen and pencil points perform better and last longer.
Durability
HERCULENE Drafting Film is dimensionally stable, permanently transparent, and will not fade or yellow with time. Tear-proof, fade-proof, waterproof and stain-proof are just a few of its many advantages. It also resists cracking; won't become brittle with the heat used in reproduction; and won't pick up dust, dirt or erasure particles.

No Ghosts
Dark, dense lines on HERCULENE's surface cannot permeate that surface, and cannot enter into its polyester base. Subsequently, your redrawn lines are rendered sharp and distinct. HERCULENE's special coatings resist abrasion even after half a dozen erasures.
Clear, Fast Diazo Reproduction

You'll love the crisp, clean prints and the uniform, high contrast between lines and background. The superior quality of HERCULENE Film just keeps coming through.
